Through orchards and Gewürztraminer vineyards we pedal leisurely towards the entrance of our house pass, the Passo Mendola, we leave Caldaro on the left and Eppan on the right and after a few 100 metres on the mountain road the picture of fruit and wine changes to forest and rocks... that's how quickly we enter another world... which is just as attractive to cyclists...
The Passo Mendola with its 17 hairpin bends is a great road to test our form. Once at the summit of the pass, enjoy a cool drink and the view from the top station of the Mendola cable car, then continue down into the Val di Non valley and via Mezzocorona back to Termeno.
