The Mendel Pass, a 2nd category mountain with a wonderful panorama. Views over Lake Caldaro and the vineyards and orchards of the South Tyrolean lowlands. The pass itself has a continuous ascent, with some steeper ramps in the first half of the pass. The stop at the Mendel Pass is rewarding. Then we continue towards the Passo Palade with a gentle ascent towards the top of the pass, which takes quite a while. On the descent, caution is necessary and then we head downhill back to Termeno.
