The village of Graun is located on a sunny plateau above Kurtatsch. From the very popular vantage point, the so-called Sitzkofel, you can view the entire Bolzano lowlands as well as the peaks of the Dolomites. Despite the altitude of 800 m above sea level, fruit and wine thrive excellently in Graun.
